The Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems in Stuttgart and Tübingen celebrated a double anniversary in 2021. As one of the oldest and largest institutes of the Max Planck Society, the Max Planck Institute for Metals Research celebrated its 100th anniversary. The Max Planck Society had changed the research direction of the MPI for Metals Research, hence it became the Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems in 2011. So at the same time we celebrated the 10th anniversary of the MPI for Intelligent Systems. Here you can see a recording of the double anniversary celebration. Our directors were invited by the Minister President of Baden-Württemberg, Winfried Kretschmann, in Stuttgart’s Neues Schloss on 30 September 2021.
